About the Parish

As baptized members of the Body of Christ, we Saint Julia Parish are a bilingual multicultural Roman Catholic community that proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through word, worship, and service. Enlightened and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we continue the mission of Christ in the world in communion with the Bishop of Raleigh and in collaboration with the Conventual Franciscan Friars. We give glory to the God who is Love in our reverence for the dignity of all human life, in the hospitality we offer to all people, in our work for peace and non-violence, in our actions on behalf of justice and in our care for all of God’s creation. As a multicultural community, we are united in our pilgrim journey of life. We are nourished by our prayer, our study of the Scriptures, our celebration of the liturgy and sacraments, our service to the poor, the sick and the elderly and by our love for all of God’s children.
